Cha Ology. The authentic atmosphere and experience of a Japanese tea house is to be found at Cha Ology. Visitors have to conform to the house rules of maintaining a subdued and calm demenour in order to uphold the true spirit of the ritualised serving of Japanese tea.

Cha Ology. Etiquette is an intrinsic part of the charm of this zen experience, so no tacky selfies or making a TikToc dance routine whilst waiting to be served! So take a break from the modern world and take time to enjoy and savour the tranquil and calm of Cha Ology.

Feel Good Club. The Feel Good Club is a community created by wives Aimie & Kiera Lawlor-Skillen with the aim is to normalise the conversation around mental health, spreading happiness in their community. In a space given to them by the developer of Hilton House the club has made it into a cafe that uses local suppliers and provide pop up spaces for guest providers.

Feel Good Club. On top of this there are programmes of events such a film nights, yoga, discussion groups all managed by mental health first aid trained staff, with the knowledge and skills to spot and intervene on behalf of anyone who appears to be struggling with an issue. They also look to ease loneliness with daily small talk hours where speaking to strangers is greatly encouraged and days where work alone freelancers can come in and network.

Oak Street Cafe. Inspired by food from around the world the Oak Street Kitchen offers salads, stews, curries, snacks and cakes that capture the rich and varied flavours of Asia, the Mediterranean and Latin America. Nestled in the former fish market the Oak Street Kitchen is in a more serene and peaceful area of the vibrant Northern Quarter.

Oak Street Cafe. The exciting and dynamic menu offsets the timeless elegance of the ornate Victorian surroundings and the range of foods and drinks are constantly changing. Vegan and Vegetarian dishes are in abundance and are equally packed with exotic flavours.

Oppidan -Edge Street. Oppidan offers a totally different concept in cafe and social space, the food and the drink are on tap, you just pay for the time you spend there! Created by a Russian poet you can help yourself to soup, snacks cereals and hot and cold drinks and just pay 8p per every minute you choose to stay there. It's really useful for both socialising on the comfy sofas or if you want to sit down for that quick business chat at the tables. Getting work done here is easy with 100mb free wifi, it's used by folks who don't need a traditional and lonely office. At Oppidan you can just turn up get some work done at the same time meet and network with others who work like you do.

Oppidan -Edge Street. That wifi is also very handy for those who are bandwidth paupers too, sit down and watch a game or film streaming down to your device that your flat just can't cope with complete with a bottomless coffee cup and never ending plates of snacks. Pets are welcome whatever species you might happen to own. Fancy a Friday night at the cinema, there is a film show where students can pay 6p per minute and access to all that tasty food and drink, that means you can watch a 90 minute film all you can eat and drink all for the price of a large box of popcorn at the multiplex.

Potty Kitchen. Along the busy Oldham Street keep an eye out for a place where you can get a fantastic breakfast to give you that kick start to the equally hectic day ahead. Potty Kitchen is a brilliant gem of welcoming and friendly catering and all with an eye on the budget too! It's cheap and very very cheerful!

Potty Kitchen. The minute you step in, the bright yellow dresser and natty collection of mis matched crockery you know this is a place full of cheery character as well as smashing crumpets and belly filling jacket potatoes. The art installation too that takes pride of place is a real conversation piece, however beware if your decide to ask the owner about it you might not get back to work in time, he loves it and loves to tell you all about it. For those who are not having to watch the clock, then in summer sitting outside with toasted teacakes with Manchester passing by is an entertainment all in it's self.
