Mars Water - Why we have it and Mars lost it
So why did Earth keep it's water and Mars lost it's H2O? The answers is Mars hasn't lost it, it is locked away inside and it can't get out. So why does water stay on Earth? Water seeps into the crust of a planet and gets trapped there. The Earth is hot inside so it's crust is constantly recycling with tectonic plates moving, the volcanic eruptions it creates releases water back into the atmosphere. Mars has lost that heat, it's water filled crust is too thick and without volcanoes it is trapped there forever....unless Elon Musk is working on Tesla Tectonics!! #mars #Mystery #Volcano #Water
